“Great things are built in harmony. From countries to cities, from businesses to teams to incredible human beings: harmony is an alignment created out of chaos. And what more beautiful chaos is there than each person on Earth?”

    This Is It

Whatever you do, do it with joy, love and presence. It’s through our undivided attention that we fully realise our true human capacity and the fact that we’re here to experience it is a miracle in and of itself. So, what the heck - why not enjoy it?!

Expansive soundscapes that delve into the technical in order to plug new neurological networks into the mainframe. Melodic at times but with a sense of purpose; you’ll likely hear new sounds with a touch of familiarity.

A polymath with a deep (and sometimes distracting!) interest in all things...

...Omar is both a conceptual and an analytical thinker; and someone who always looks to bring out the best in others.

Omar grew up at the busiest border in the world - San Diego-Tijuana - and so was fully immersed in bicultural life.

With such a broad and enriching foundation, empathy and curiosity sit at the core of his work in product management and workshop facilitation.

    What brings you to FLOWN?

While exploring a career transition and deciding to start my own business, I was introduced to the concept of body doubling so as to aid focus and better deal with my ADHD. As a facilitator myself, I checked out the FLOWN team’s skills and passions and immediately felt at home. The more research I did, the more I was drawn to the company. So, I reached out and whaddaya know: here we are!

    What keeps you motivated?

Few things please me more than untangling knotty situations with a group. In my work I use mostly conversation design and structured activities to get to alignment, psychological safety, goal-setting and ‘best practice’ in product development. However, I definitely allow for loose and unplanned ideation and communication. Humans are the most complex things of our world and I love to take part in people’s work and development.

    What makes you happy?

Intricate and technical music. Making sourdough bread, kombucha and other ferments. Overlanding. Taking courses/learning in general. Being among people. Woodwork, DIY, hard labour. Running and exercise in general. Cooking intricate meals.

Where else might we find you?

I love being on our plot of land, which will soon become a construction site. Otherwise, I’m with the dogs at the park, in the kitchen testing a new recipe, digging in the crates at a record store or around the city in search of the best coffee beans. Oh - and I never tire of chasing our baby around, secretly wanting to eat him to pieces!
